Thaipusam at Batu Caves - Serie 2
1. This guy just went into trance.
2. He stuck his tongue out and the priest placed the needle.
3. ... and it went through the tongue.
4. Mouth close...
5. ... and its in place. Ready to walk.
6. Lady with pierced cheeks.
7. Man with pierced cheeks.
The Piercing.
This serie is on the act and process of body piercing. Not for the tame hearted.
The devotee made a short prayer and then went into trance. He then stuck his tongue out and the priest placed the needle on the tongue.
The priest applied pressure and pushed the needle through.
