I joined throes of photographers to capture moments of Hindu devotees making their Thaipusam offerings at Batu Caves, Gombak. It was the first for me and it was exhilarating.
Join me as I periodically add new photos to this entry. I shall be uploading six photos at a time. Shooting in low light, ISO 1600, slow shutter and built in flash was very challenging.
thank you ikelah, boogey, zal, noor and meor for your comments. i appreciate them.
artistically, i like #33 too. glad some of you share the same.
it took me almost 10 minutes stalking #34 girl. she was surrounded by 3 of her elder brothers. initially they didnt realize i was shooting her but when they did, they were okay with it. the girl knew i was shooting her i think - eventually. in any case #34 is my personal favorite as i like her expression.
boogey and i both agreed that day that ikelah would not be able to join us. by the way, it was not batu malai, but ??? malai. i would have expected boogey to shoot the signage.
will do that. in case she can't reach you as frequently do not answer calls, i'll give her mas' number as well la so that can leave messages. you still dont check your voicemail kan.

in the 21st century there is something called "email." you might want to google up how it works. still, i rarely check mine.
